Once there was a boy-
Still is, I guess…
Drinking Strawberry juice
From a Tetra Pak.
Emptying the pack,
He paced himself to search for
A trash can… He found it!
Two, actually- Blue & Green.
Must’ve been a dark night;
Or his colour-blindness;
Or sheer confusion;
The kid dumped his pack
In the Green can…
Few days later, the green can
Was taken to transform into
Manure.
Enzymes, Bacteria spread.
Covered, Composted and Constrained.
Life formed around,
Soil continued layering,
The Juice pack had nowhere to move
But down.
And, it did.
Digging its way to breathe and freedom,
It did. Go.
Down. Down. Down,
Until it reached the gates of Hell.
Hellkeepers were busy that day,
Dealing with the sinners of
Prejudice and Equivocation.
So, Yamraja himself opened the
Gates of Hell.
The dirt covered Strawberry juice pack
Looked at him.
Yamraja smiled viciously.
Believing this, a message from the further above,
He commanded all the Hell warriors to
Negotiate a battle against Lord Indra’s Heaven.
One of the Hell warriors,
A spy from Heaven informed
Lord Indra that Yamaraja would
Ambush the Heaven.
Without further introspection,
Lord Indra set for an ambush against Yamaraja.
The Battle took place on the Earth-
The living World,
Destroying many living.
The boy watched the battle,
Drinking Mango juice
From a Tetra Pak.
Emptying the pack,
He paced himself to search for
A trash can… He found it!
Two, actually- Blue & Green.
The feuds between the factions of society,
Both 2D and 3D,
Are sharp cracks in a
Thin brittle Ice lake.
A raindrop is all it takes
To break it, melt it, ripple it, and
Flood a far-off island.
It is dynamic, chaotic, and
A law of nature.
It is futile to try to seal the cracks.
Maybe, we should move out of the island.
